I’m a young attorney. In tarot, the King of Swords is someone who uses logic and reason to solve problems (like an attorney), so the King of Swords is a symbol of my career and my future.

I was raised in a Catholic home, went to St. Michael’s school, and attended mass at St. Michael’s Church every week for years, where a reproduction of Raphael’s painting adorns the ceiling. The St. Michael image is a symbol of my past.

Now that I’m a bit older, I’ve rejected God and religion. So here you have a religious image of St. Michael on a sacrilegious item, the tarot card. The juxtaposition of the religious and irreligious is a symbol of my own struggle with faith.

Anil Gupta is an amazing artist. He is really well known for his micro artwork, he has done some amazing tattoos win incredible detail and they are maybe the size of a quarter.
