Saturday-Day Drinking and party at my boys place.
Sunday- Redskins home opener (club level suite)
Monday- Capitals vs Sabres Pre-season hockey (center ice)

I havn’t been on tumblr lately. I have been pretty busy with my 90 year old man knees. I blew my left one out again on sunday. I think the man upstairs is out for me. I may have pissed him off. Please stop. Thanks.
I had a pretty decent weekend. Saturday night was definately full of new choices and adventures with @artlinker. Tried a completely new bar to us. (Well I hadn’t been there in a long time.) It was pretty decent, lots of things to do there. Went to my corner bar afterwards. That place really is my true comfort zone, after the bartender had loaded me up full of booze, some wanted, some unwanted. Overall It was awesome as usually. Here is the fun part.. wait for it.
Came home, grabbed the bottle of JD #7 and walked to a random ass house party going on in the neighborhood. Made those young kids (im sure they were at that 21-24 range) chug from the bottle like it was 1992 all over again. I have no idea what their names were, got home from there at about 4am. Another successful weekend in the books I thought.
Nope, on sunday.. knee fail.

this sucks
So, I am gonna go grab my bike here shortly and its pouring fucking rain. I have no problems in rain riding, infact I like it. The problem here is my bike has these tires that are more less straight up slicks. I guess I am going to be parking my bike in the corner and walking it. Its funny, but sucks.. Plus I am wearing a suit right now. So.. I guess all signs point towards fail.
I am ready for beer already. 10-12am today happy hour. Free beer for me. I need it, after this dibocle.

Official Dead Rising 2 Trailer
I have said that the only thing flawed with Dead Rising was it’s save system. Everything else was fantastic so I was excited to learn that a sequel was coming. Having seen the trailer and reading a couple of interviews something isn’t sitting right with me.
It’s as if all the charm is gone. It almost seems as if Dead Rising 2 is trying to hard. Where Dead Rising succeded was in picking up things like golf clubs and guitars and killing a bunch of zombies… building a vehicle where two chainsaws are coming off the handlebars really looses me.
I really want this game to be good, and it still could be. I’m keeping this one on the radar still.
This was/is my favorite 360 game. I spent countless hours playing. In fact I still play it to this day for its straight fun factor. I can’t wait to see this game come out. I maybe locked in the house for hours laughing and just simply enjoying slaying every zombie that I come in contact with.
Left for Dead is an awesome first person shooter in the zombie genre, but this is just plain fun.
..this past weekend.
This has been a very busy weekend, but a very pleasent one at that. I had a show on saturday night which went amazing. My band has been through some line up changes, we have a 2nd guitarist and a new bassist. The sound has been getting full. We played a show at place called “The Blast House” Its a house in damn near middle of no where that is complete graffitied out. The walls are completely covered. There were some 300+ kids that showed up. I was just looking at this gig as getting my feet wet again. It turned out amazing. the sound was excellent. Everything flowed smoothly. I am going to post the videos from that show soon as soon as my friend uploads them to youtube.
Then on sunday I went to 9:30 club to go see Bloc Party. I had an extra ticket the whole time and finally got rid of it for like 20 bucks! I didn’t care too much ultimately as I was seeing myself being out 90 dollars what I paid for it, so ill take what I can get. Les Savy Fav opened for them, I hadn’t heard of or listented to them before but I was quite suprised! They rocked!
But in all seriousness Bloc Party rocked it. Double encore performances. Everything went just right. Pics to follow soon.
