Don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of you with your septum visible… either that or I don’t pay attention! What is it, 8mm, and are your lips 3mm??!!
I’m not sure what it is in mms, but my septum is a 0g, and my snakebites are 8g…I guess you must not be payin’ attention, cuz I’ve got this thing in all the time…Ok maybe not all the time, but…plenty of times…lol.
How did you even stretch your septum?
I’d get a taper for the next size that I was going to, get really, really, really drunk, lube it up with some soap recommended by my piercer, and shove that fucker through…And I did it 6 times….12g to 10g, 10g to 8g, 8g to 6g, 6g to 4g, 4g to 2g, and finally 2g to 0g…Although when I went from 2g to 0g, I just couldn’t get the taper through, so I ended up gradually wrapping a couple layers of electrical tape around my 2g plug before I was able to get the 0g taper through…And I’ve been at 0g for about a year now.
Not a straight taper, like for stretching ears??!! Or do you mean like a spiral or one of those horn things??! I’m currently restretching my ears! Plenty of bath time swearing has been occuring!!
For most of them, I used a curved taper and just left it in and wore it until the soreness went away, but for the 6g to 4g stretch and the 2g to 0g, I used a straight taper and inserted the larger gauge jewelery immediately after.
Savage! I just looked up Gague into MM, 0g is 8mm! My ears are currently 6g and I’m taking them to 00g then stopping for a while and deciding if I want to go bigger.
Question, what do you do if you have a cold/flu?? Must be a bitch to blow your nose!
I use to have my septum, and when I streched from 6 to a 4, that pain was head spinning silly. None of my other peircings ever hurt that bad. but I dig man, good work.
