Real Hardcore is good as dead.
I’d have to respectfully disagree. The bottom picture isn’t hardcore at all, just tweeners and their ridiculous fashions. You will see shows that look like the picture above almost any day of the week at vfw halls and elks lodges.
Funny you say VFW halls and Elk Lodges.. cause that statement holds a lot of truth. I for one still go to little shows at VFW Halls, back a couple of years ago I saw Catharsis (North Caroline Hardcore/violence-core) there. Absolutely amazing!
